How we score
- Accessibility: Automated checks (axe-core) against WCAG 2.2 levels A and AA, including the checks for EN 301 549, the standard the European Accessibility Act relies on. The score starts at 100 and loses 15 points for each critical issue, 8 for each serious, 3 for each moderate and 1 for each minor. If any EN 301 549 check fails, the page scores 79 at most. Automated checks find only some accessibility issues.
- Sustainability: We measure everything the page downloads on a first visit and estimate its CO₂ with the Sustainable Web Design Model (v4), counting less for hosting the Green Web Foundation verifies as green. That gives a carbon rating from A+ to F: A+ scores 100, A 90, B 75, C 60, D 45, E 30 and F 15.
