Why accessibility matters

  • 1 in 6 people live with a disability

If they can't use your site, they'll go to one they can.

  • It's the law in the EU

Since June 2025, the European Accessibility Act applies to many businesses selling online in the EU.

  • Better for everyone

Clear contrast, labels and keyboard support help every visitor, on any device.

Questions

Does a scan mean my site is EAA compliant?

No. Automated checks catch many issues, but not all, and no scanner can certify compliance. Sprout shows you where you stand and what to fix.

Which WCAG rules do you test?

We run axe-core's WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules, and list AAA-only checks (like enhanced contrast) as recommendations. Automated rules cover part of WCAG, so keyboard and screen reader testing still matter.

Can I check every page, not just one?

Yes, with Observability. It checks every page of every site.
